The Fort Collins Musicians Association announces the all-Colorado music lineup for the 17th Annual Fort Collins Music eXperiment (FoCoMX)
FoCoMX, the premier showcase of Colorado music, returns to downtown Fort Collins on Friday, April 18th, and Saturday, April 19th, 2025. Featuring over 420 live performances across nearly 40 stages, this musician-focused, nonprofit, and volunteer-powered festival celebrates the vibrant Colorado music scene with genres ranging from rock and reggae to jazz, indie, bluegrass, and beyond.

FoCoMX 2025 offers a vibrant musical experience, including special performances by INTHEWHALE's Fort Collins farewell show, first-time appearances by Flobots, DENM (fresh from Red Rocks), Flobots, and a reunion of INTHEWHALE. Attendees will also enjoy featured artists such as Dubskin, Write Minded, Graham Good and the Painters, Ritmo Cascabel, Erica Brown, Frail Talk, Lolita, and izCALLi. With over 100 acts making their FoCoMX debut, audiences are guaranteed to discover new favorites across genres, including indie, rock, jazz, funk, reggae, electronic, hip-hop, and Americana.
The FoCoMX experience is customizable through its interactive website, where fans can browse artists, preview music, create personalized schedules, and explore curated tracks by genre, venue, and performance times.
Special festival highlights include the Silent Disco featuring 16 Colorado DJs, and unique multi-stage venues at Avogadro’s Number, Odell Brewing, The Lyric, New Belgium Brewing, Fort Collins Museum of Discovery, and Wolverine Farm. New venues like The Neighbor and Schneider’s Schnitzel Haus will showcase intimate performances and songwriter showcases.
Additionally, the Fort Collins Museum of Discovery will host a special free day on Saturday, offering performances in spaces like the Digital Dome, featuring local favorites Boredom Fighters, the MOD Squad, and School of Rock.
FoCoMX began as a grassroots initiative and continues as a community-powered, nonprofit event, reinvesting proceeds into supporting local artists through education, networking, and wellness programs.
