His journey from being Freddie Hubbard’s pianist to a celebrated solo artist is a story of relentless passion and creativity. A USC graduate in musical composition, Childs' career is studded with numerous accolades, including Grammy® awards, a Guggenheim Fellowship, and numerous commissions, notably for the Los Angeles Philharmonic.
