Innovative Giving Enhancement (IGE) releases today the dates and preliminary Artist Collective for the 2022 Kaua’i Music and Art Immersion. ‘Grateful Aloha’ on the Garden Island, held January 3-11, 2022, offers a unique opportunity to join in musical celebration with the Kaua’i community for the benefit of a broad range of island nonprofit organizations.
Through the intimate IGE Music and Art Immersion experience, limited to 150 participants, boundaries dissolve between superstar musicians and fans, performers and spectators, participants and environments at a variety of dynamic venues across the island. Immersion concerts and jams integrate Mainland Musical Ambassadors with the finest of Kaua’i and islandwide Hawaiian players for a series of five public performances and additional concerts exclusively for the handful of IGE participants over the course of nine days and eight nights.
By design, participants are woven within the fabric of every unique, daily experience as together with their favorite musical icons they encounter the tropical splendor of Kaua’i and the richness of Hawaiian culture. Participants foster community with their favorite musical icons while experiencing larger scale concerts, intimate collaborations of curated supergroups, and intercultural jams, as well as significant performances by legendary Hawaiian master musicians, local artists and dance troupes.
Grateful Aloha Immersion participants enjoy nightly concerts and unique musical performances across a palette of tropical atmospheric venues ranging from state of the art concert halls to mind blowing botanical gardens, magical pavilions to enchanted churches, grand estates to iconic restaurants.
Beyond the musical connections and performances, IGE participants offer direct benefit to a broad coalition of Kaua’i social, cultural, environmental and arts non-profits and artist communities. IGE Musical Ambassadors and Hawaiian All-Stars join together with the local community in collaborative support for Kaua’i Hospice, Kaua’i Independent Food Bank. Kaua’i Community College Creative Media Program, Kaua’i Concert Association, Garden Island Arts Council, Music in the Schools, Youth performing arts organizations, Kauai Planning & Action Alliance, Anaina Hou, Surfrider Foundation Kaua’i and Kaua’i’s Boys and Girls Clubs.
IGE Music and Art Immersions are unlike other destination musical events. A Grateful Aloha is a top tier intercultural musical arts retreat in support for the Kaua’i community. The benefit concert series is entirely funded through IGE’s international donor community permitting 100% of every dollar raised on island through ticket revenue and donations to remain on Kaua’i funding educational, environmental, mental health, food security, end of life and arts charities.
Reservations for IGE’s 2022 Kaua’i Music and Art Immersion are available now with capacity extremely limited to retain the intimacy of the Immersive environment. Individual general admission tickets for concerts at Kaua’i Community College, Smith’s Tropical Paradise and Anaina Hou will be on sale in early November. GA ticket prices will range in price from $20 - $65 depending on show and seating.

Artist Testimonials on IGE Immersion:
“Every minute is jam packed with music, art and culture - the whole point of it”
- Elliott Peck (Terrapin Family Band, Midnight North)
“We all have an openness with one another. These are folks who are great players and also folks who are game for an experience that's outside the box. It’s cool to put ourselves in new situations, break things down and try our songs in new settings."
- Scott Law (Cosmic Twang, Phil and Friends)
“The lines are really blurred between musicians, friends, fans - everyone’s in it together. Musically it's special. I play with my band Greensky Bluegrass every night. But here I begin a set with Paul, and then suddenly we’re playing with the String Cheese and creating a new band - Greensky Incident - just for one night and only for Immersion family. This just doesn’t happen anywhere else.”
- Anders Beck (Greensky Bluegrass)
“One day I’ll want to play bluegrass and acoustic music, the next I’ll want to play jazz, then funk and soul and rock and roll. It’s really fun for me to jump around with all these great players so well versed in those styles. I’ve jammed with many of these guys, but in Barcelona we get to know one another. We see each other in passing here or there but never really get time to listen. Here we are all together hanging out -getting to know each other in a deeper way as we listen to and experience these great musicians’ music. And of course there are all these amazing European players we never would have met, heard or jammed with.”
- Eric Krasno (Soulive, Lettuce)
