Telling tales from their roots in the Rust Belt and the bayou, The Wholesome Boys bring a fresh yet timeless sound to the forefront with their highly anticipated debut album, Adelphi. Blending echoes of Bruce Springsteen’s heartland grit with the anthemic flair of Brandon Flowers, the album encapsulates a journey both personal and universal, wrapped in propulsive backbeats and soaring guitars.
Since their early days waiting tables in Nashville, Andrew, Dylan, Frank, and Nate have traveled 12,000 miles across the U.S., playing over 70 shows and sharing stages with artists like Morgan Wade, Muscadine Bloodline, and Clint Black. On the road, they honed not just their sound but their identity, crafting songs that resonate deeply with audiences everywhere.
Teaming up with Grammy-nominated producer Ben Rice (Joan Osborne, The National), the band spent January of 2024 at Brooklyn’s Degraw Sound, distilling the collaborative material written during their travels. The result is Adelphi, a record named after both the street where they stayed and the deep sense of brotherhood that has defined their journey.
The album showcases gritty authenticity and anthems of hope and possibility, with its first single, "Desert Diamonds," earning a spot on Spotify’s Fresh Finds Rock playlist and airplay on Nashville’s WRLT Lightning 100. Packed with raw emotion and energy that mirrors their electrifying live performances, Adelphi is set to leave an indelible mark on listeners.
