Tim Carbone keeps a busy schedule. In addition to touring constantly with Railroad Earth and recording new material with The Contribution, Carbone has produced many up-and-coming as well as veteran artists in the jamband and new grass scene, from Gipsy Moon to Hot Buttered Rum.

Future Soul up-and-comer--JOSH JACOBSON--reveals the official music video for his hit single “Polaroids.” It is the first of his ‘From The Roots’ video series that will highlight Jacobson’s performance skills in recorded live sessions. The single is the first track to be released from his debut EP FIRST LIGHT, which will come out later this summer (date TBA).

Ethnomusicologist Amanda Villepastour and Cuban producer (Sendero Music) Luis Bran have teamed up to tell the unlikely story of the spirit of music in a small Cuban town through the heartbeat of a set of multi-generational religious drums named Ilú Keké. The 21-track album, titled Transmisión en la Eritá Meta, is available now digitally worldwide under exclusive license to Music Works NYC.

For fans of the band Phish there is no doubt that 1993 was probably the most pivotal year in their now legendary career.  Though they had technically been performing together since the mid 80s, it was at this point that the band began to shape themselves into the touring juggernaut they would eventually become.  Over the course of the year the band performed 110 shows, each one filled with unique jams, new originals, and exciting cover songs.
