It’s bewildering how many devoted fans are out there of late guitar and American music icon Jerry Garcia that never saw him play a single show. Yet they know all about the live music of Grateful Dead and Jerry Garcia Band. They can explore the evolutions and changes in form, structure, and exploration. This is of course due to the tireless efforts of band insider sound technicians and the extended taper culture that surrounded.

Close encounters in Eugene, Oregon! We are not alone in saying this one could be considered top-of-line Grateful Dead from 1978. Yes, as the tales have been told, 1/22/78 conjured up vibes of the Be-in, Altamont, Yippies, Psychedelia, Woodstock, Free Speech, Acid Trips, heaven for one lucky concert-goer, and of course, aliens. If you wanna know what we're on about, there's no better way to experience the show than with this lovingly-restored version from legendary sound engineer Betty Cantor-Jackson's recordings.

Coming off eight European dates earlier this month--a mix of headline shows and festival appearances--THE MAGPIE SALUTE will launch their much-anticipated first-ever U.S. concert tour July 26 in Indianapolis. The extensive summer-into-fall outing with 59 shows including two-night engagements in Chicago (Metro), San Francisco (The Fillmore) and New York City (Irving Plaza) and festivals before wrapping November 17 in Atlantic City.

The Jauntee have just announced a return to Denver over Labor Day weekend this year. The weekend shows are a part of the band’s annual “A Dick’s Jaunt,” a two-day pre and post event happening around the Phish Dick’s shows. The Friday and Saturday event will take place at On Key Psychedelic Ripple. Sneaky Pete and The Secret Weapons will join the band on Friday for rotating sets and there are still a number of artists to be announced throughout the weekend.

'Undisputed kings of electro funk', The Floozies have just announced a massive nationwide tour in support of their new album Funk Jesus.

Funk Jesus will include already released singles, "Arithmetic (feat. ProbCause)", "Cosmic Rays (feat. Ryan Zoidis)", "Summer Fling", and "Honeymoon Phase (feat. Ryan Zoidis)".

TAUK are bringing their all-instrumental blend of funk, hip-hop, progressive rock, and jazz around the U.S. with this fall’s Montage tour. Fans will be able to pick up tickets this Wednesday via the band’s fan ticketing here.

Fans who purchase tickets through the band’s ticketing service will have the option of adding on a limited edition tour poster and pin bundle that will not be available anywhere else.
