Grace Potter & Higher Ground announce that the 10th Annual Grand Point North music festival will take place Saturday, September 12th and Sunday, September 13th, 2020 at Waterfront Park in Burlington, VT. A limited number of Early Bird two-day passes and VIP tickets go on sale Friday, January 17th at 11:00AM.
The BeachLife Festival is proud to announce its return to Redondo Beach, CA’s Seaside Lagoon with another exciting musical lineup featuring artists who embody Southern California’s iconic beach culture. Steve Miller Band, Counting Crows, and Ziggy Marley & Stephen Marley’s Bob Marley Celebration will headline the three-day immersive music, art, and culinary oceanside event happening May 1-3, 2020. Additional artists appearing include UB40 feat.
WinterWonderGrass 2020 is on the horizon and the festival is excited to share the official daily schedule for their California edition, taking place March 27th - 29th in Squaw Valley, CA. With the recent announcement that Billy Strings is named International Bluegrass Association’s Guitar Player of the Year, WinterWonderGrass California is excited to present not one, but two headlining sets from the rising star.
Those familiar with the phenomenal exploratory bands Phil Lesh & Friends, Moonalice, and David Nelson Band are likely familiar with guitar virtuoso Barry Sless. His Pedal Steel guitar has transformed beloved Grateful Dead classics such as “Box of Rain,” “Peggy O,” “Pride of Cucamonga,” and “Cumberland Blues” into full-fledged country-rock bliss that Jerry Garcia is no doubt smiling down on.
Boston born indie-folk powerhouse Chadwick Stokes Urmston has made his impact on music over the last few decades. Known for fronting bands such as Dispatch and State Radio, his newest undertaking, touring with musical group “The Pintos” proves to have given his resume further depth and opens a new chapter in his life.
When Berry Oakley, Butch Trucks, Dickey Betts, Duane Allman, Jaimoe, and Gregg Allman finally coalesced in 1969 as The Allman Brothers Band, after stints in other bands and musical endeavors – some alone, some with each other – the group’s very first informal jam together was the stomping Muddy Waters song, “Trouble No More.” Almost immediately the six musicians knew they were on to something special.
