In 2015, Matt Jaffe was burdened with indecision between his education and a career in music. While the worlds coexisted for years, the time had come for Matt to follow his dream, embarking on tours around the country. While in the Northeast, Matt came down with a virus, and after medical malpractice, developed epilepsy. Fast forward four years, and Matt has a seizure onstage that ravages his longtime guitar. The guitar has been repaired, but the battle with epilepsy is ongoing.

On September 24, the Owsley Stanley Foundation and Renew Records/BMG will release Bear’s Sonic Journals: Johnny Cash, At The Carousel Ballroom, April 24 1968, an historic and never-heard live concert recorded in San Francisco by innovative sound wizard Owsley Stanley.

Borderland Festival is returning to Knox Farm State Park, September 18th-19th for 2 days of music, food, beer, crafts and more. The festival was cancelled in 2020 and is looking forward to it’s grand return to celebrate summer, community and of course music. Borderland will host more than 20 bands on three stages with a diverse mix of national and regional, rock, country, Americana and roots artists.
