Today, MerleFest, presented by Window World®, announced its updated safety protocol for this year’s festival, as well as the Band Competition participants.
Safety Protocol: The festival’s top priority has always been and will continue to be to provide a safe and family-friendly environment for musicians and music fans of all ages. MerleFest will continue to follow guidelines for health and safety as directed by Governor Roy Cooper, the CDC, and state and local health officials.
The String Cheese Incident is thrilled to announce their annual Colorado amphitheater Incidents at Dillon Amphitheater and Red Rocks Amphitheatre. Joining SCI at Red Rocks will be Yonder Mountain String Band on Friday, Leftover Salmon on Saturday, and a very special Phil Lesh Incident on Sunday that will combine Phil Lesh with The String Cheese Incident for an unforgettable Sunday performance.
In mid-March, the global music community travels to the South by Southwest® Music Festival (SXSW®) in Austin, Texas, for seven days and nights of music discovery, making connections and celebrating the magic of live music. SXSW has announced the full list of over 1,400 artists scheduled to perform on 79 stages, as well as numerous music industry professionals who will be participating in the SXSW Conference. The first essential event on the music industry calendar, the SXSW Music Festival, takes place March 14 - 20, 2022 in Austin, Texas.
Mountain Song Productions and Brevard Music Center have announced the first annual North Carolina Guitar Celebration taking place at the Whittington-Pfohl Auditorium on June 4, 2022.
The Northern Michigan woods once again hosts an end-of-summer weekend of music as the Hoxeyville Music Festival celebrates 20 years of conscious community August 19 – 21 in Wellston, MI. Artists announced in the initial festival lineup include Railroad Earth, The Infamous Stringdusters, Yonder Mountain String Band, Lindsay Lou, May Erlewine, Larry Keel Experience, Airborne or Aquatic, Full Cord, Arlo McKinley, Mark Lavengood Band, & Earth Radio.
Blü Egyptian (Chico, Ca) will be on tour of Northern California, Oregon and Nevada this spring to promote the release of their second album "Dame Un Segundo."
