Acoustic Americana trio fed on bluegrass, roots rock, old time, and vintage swing, Damn Tall Buildings are excited to release their 3rd album, Sleeping Dogs, on September 9.

Today, The Ballroom Thieves – Martin Earley and Calin Peters unleash Clouds - a lush meditation on longing to return to touring ("to see different sunsets, roads"), but also a reflection of its difficulties (insomnia brought on by sleeping in different hotel rooms every night).

East Coast folks, the place to be celebrating Jerry Garcia's 80th birthday on August 1 is the Capitol Theatre in Port Chester, NY, where DJ Jonathan Healey creates an immersive psychedelic dance experience drawn from Jerry's multi-decade career with the Grateful Dead and beyond. Meanwhile, in Garcia's, the Stella Blue's Band will be playing live.

Emerging country and folk-rock artist Abby Hamilton releases a new live version of her song, “Afraid of the Dark,” today—watch/share HERE. Filmed and recorded by Jon Tsang at Atlanta’s Goat Farms Art Center, the performance features Abby along with her band: Ryan Allen (keys), Carson Childers (bass) Zac Hamilton (guitar) and Zach Martin (drums).

Leading up to the writing of her new album, Talking Walls, singer, songwriter, and guitarist Lilly Winwood had all but resigned herself from continuing her music career. Burned out after her last album cycle and in the midst of a pandemic, Winwood took a job to pay the bills—but she couldn’t stop writing. She knew she was on the cusp of something important. “I’d be working in a restaurant all day and then at night, come 3 a.m., I’d be pulling half-written songs out of my apron,” she recalls.

Marcus King today announced the release of “Blood On The Tracks,” the latest preview, and lead single from his forthcoming solo album, Young Blood. The track was co-written with Dan Auerbach and songwriting legend Desmond Child, renowned for his work with rock acts including Alice Cooper, Joan Jett and Aerosmith. It premiered today with Garden & Gun, who stated “‘Blood On The Tracks’, finds King steeling himself for the ascent from the depths to the sunlight above.”
