The third day of Austin City Limits brought a lineup of heavy hitters to Zilker Park. With a stacked program of artists, some known throughout the decades, some up and coming, and a couple with something to prove, little was left to be desired as the festival was sent off in style.
To say we are very excited to be returning to The Fillmore December 3 in San Francisco with our annual Rex Foundation Benefit would be an understatement. After a two-year hiatus we can’t wait to gather with our beloved Rex community and dance to our hearts’ content!
Led by acoustic guitarist and singer songwriter Andrew McConathy—known for his compelling songwriting and distinct, expressive vocals—Drunken Hearts independently released their new single, “Sunlight (feat. Big Richard)” July 29 on all platforms. They also created a music video of the song with stunning surrealist animation, which can be viewed here → https://youtu.be/-qgHfV49Dp4.
Breckenridge Distillery, the ‘World’s Highest Distillery,’ and Breckenridge Brewery return this season for the second ever Buddy Pass, a unique barrel-exchange program to create a limited-edition Imperial Stout Cask Finish Whiskey and a Whiskey Barrel-Aged Imperial Oatmeal Stout Beer. After selling out last year’s inaugural limited release in Colorado, Buddy Pass has expanded nationwide, entering 10 new markets and will hit retailers starting Oct. 24.

Gulf Coast Records announces a first quarter, 2023, release for one of the most-anticipated albums of the New Year, with the upcoming Blood Brothers disc featuring multi-Blues Music Award-winners Mike Zito and Albert Castiglia. The duo recently concluded a highly-successful string of “Blood Brothers” shows in the spring/summer, with new tour dates to be announced shortly.

The Texas sun beat down heavily for Day two of Austin City Limits, but nothing could stop the masses from flooding Zilker Park with high hopes for a stacked Saturday lineup. A diverse and eclectic bill of artists for the day, the list of artists had something for everyone and an array of genres that were far from what you would expect at a typical festival.
