World Cafe, the daily music and interview program distributed by NPR, is excited to announce the latest edition of its Sense of Place series, bringing listeners into the heart of Colorado’s diverse and vibrant music scene. This 6-part series launches on October 11, exploring the unique sounds and stories from Colorado’s top artists, iconic venues, and rich musical traditions, all led by World Cafe host Raina Douris.

There are few music festivals with the legacy of the High Sierra Music Festival (HSMF). After more than thirty years, HSMF has truly become far more than the sum of its parts. Sure, there's a ton of world-class music on several stages, parades, activities for kids, crafts and vendors, killer food, and all that. And of course, there's the camping scene, a hippie town that springs up almost overnight on the Plumas County Fairgrounds for the four-day festival around the Fourth of July each year.

Following a triumphant and empowering 2023 debut, Andrea Magee’s She Rises Music Festival is returning for its second year in the vibrant backdrop of  Taos, New Mexico, this Labor Day weekend (Aug. 30 - Sept. 1) at Kit Carson Park, located at 211 Paseo Del Pueblo Norte, Taos, NM 87571.

On October 11-13, The Caverns presents the third annual CaveFest, featuring a curated line-up of music over three days with headliners Railroad Earth, The Travelin’ McCourys, Yonder Mountain String Band, Bela Fleck & Abigail Washburn, and The Grateful Ball featuring The Travelin’ McCourys plus special guests, joined by artists-in-residence Lindsay Lou and John Mailander.

Headliners include Sam Bush, Leftover Salmon, The Infamous Stringdusters, Peter Rowan, and The Travelin’ McCourys, plus artists-in-residence Lindsay Lou, on-site camping, open underground jam sessions, cave tours, delicious food trucks, local vendors, and more.
