Today, the Seattle-based soul-jazz groove-machine Delvon Lamarr Organ Trio introduces their new guitarist Miles “Smiles” Harris. Harris is being passed the torch from longtime DLO3 guitarist Jimmy James, who steps away from the trio to branch out as an independent artist. Miles will join Delvon and touring drummer Ehssan Karimi on the band’s 2023 tour, which kicks off later this week at Holland Music Club in Omaha, NE.

Today DADDY LONG LEGS, New York City's most diabolical Rhythm & Blues street gang, have announced their eagerly anticipated new album Street Sermons, to be released on March 17th via Yep Roc Records. The group has also shared the title track “Street Sermon,” which sees the group beseeching their troubled congregation to “Work with one another/Not against each other” as the Brooklyn band evolve into a chain gang that sounds like they’re emanating through the cracks of a hot and sticky subway station. The sandy shores of Asbury Park, New Jersey are hallowed ground in the northeast; the rolling waves have ushered generations of venerated musicians to worldwide acclaim. Dogs in a Pile, an eclectic quintet, has emerged as the heir apparent to the town’s rich musical legacy. Merging funk, jazz, and rock and roll with psychedelia, the quintet presents a completely original vibe built on kaleidoscopic soundscapes eerily reminiscent of the days of yesteryear.

Waynard Scheller and Rainbow Full of Sound (RFoS) have quickly become one of the East Coast’s premiere bands playing Grateful Dead songs, thanks to talent and a lot of practice—300 shows’ worth. For 2021 and 2022 dates, Rainbow Full of Sound are taking Grateful Dead fans back in time, recreating the Dead’s legendary Europe 72’ tour on it’s 50th Anniversary. They will trace the path that included twenty-one shows that started in England and traveled  to Denmark, Germany, France, the Netherlands and back to England.

On the heels of last year’s successful debut, the Florida Groves Festival has been expanded to a weekend event in 2023. It will be held at the Orlando Amphitheater at the Central Florida Fairgrounds (4603 W Colonial Drive) on Saturday, April 15th and Sunday, April 16th.

The music, art and cannabis festival will feature local Florida artists, popular music acts and numerous educational aspects on the Cannabis Plant. The two-day event runs from 12 p.m. to 11 p.m.
