4848 Festival Announces Dates for 2020 Return to Snowshoe Mountain

4848 Festival | Snowshoe Mountain

All Good Presents debuted another mountaintop event in West Virginia, the 4848 Festival. Today, organizers announced the 2020 version of the event happening July 9 – 11 at Snowshoe Mountain Resort in Showshoe, WV. Complete 4848 Festival details will be coming soon regarding artist announcements, room packages and ticket details; info will be announced via www.4848festival.com.

The inaugural 2019 event featured two nights of headlining shows from Greensky Bluegrass, along with sets from Umphrey’s McGee, Billy Strings, Turkuaz, The Infamous Stringdusters, Railroad Earth, Rayland Baxter, The Marcus King Band, Fruition, Cris Jacobs Band, The Nth Power, Orgone, & many more.

On June 24, Round Records & ATO Records will release GarciaLive Volume Six: July 5, 1973 – Jerry Garcia & Merl Saunders, the latest installment of the celebrated GarciaLive archival series. The three-CD set was recorded at the 200 capacity Lion’s Share club formerly located in the small town of San Anselmo, CA, just 20 miles north of San Francisco. The performance features Jerry Garcia performing with friend, mentor and legendary keyboardist/vocalist Merl Saunders. The duo is joined by drummer Bill Vitt and bassist John Kahn, who soon became a lifelong Garcia collaborator.
