Dead & Company and Playing in the Sand promoter CID Entertainment donated $75,000 to various local charities in Mexico.
In addition, a D’Angelico guitar signed by members of Dead & Company was sold in a charity auction for $69,000 - the highest ever for a Dead & Company guitar. Total auction proceeds eclipsed $150,000 when including signed posters and a commemorative REMO Percussion drumhead. These funds will be divided between Dead & Company-affilated charities WhyHunger, REVERB and HeadCount (organizer of the auction).
