Critically-acclaimed American Roots music group Gary Brewer & The Kentucky Ramblers (GBKR) have taken the next step in event promotion. In addition to opening up their own music venue, hosting a bi-annual festival, and holding a winter concert series for 5 years, GBKR has launched their non-profit organization “Brewgrass Entertainment, INC.” Shortly after the launch, Gary and the boys partnered with the City of Louisville, Louisville Parks and Recreation, and the Iroquois Amphitheater to put on a free-to-the-public community event. With multiple genres of music and through vast cultural diversity the goal was to allow healing simply to bring the community together by celebrating the universal language of music.

As one of Louisville’s biggest hometown success stories, the group agreed to offer their vast amount of unique industry connections (and entertainment value) to create a diverse one-off style evening of live music. The event hosted multiple live musical performances of various genres/groups/guest(s). Brewgrass Entertainment INC. donated their time/personnel to coordinate the event and incurred all costs associated.

$10,000 check made out to “Louisville Metro Government”

With their already great donation, Gary Brewer & the Kentucky Ramblers (on behalf of Brewgrass Entertainment, INC.) presented the Mayor of Louisville, Greg Fischer, with a $10,000 check made out to “Louisville Metro Government” as part of opening ceremonies of the Deep Roots Music Fest. Gary Brewer & the Kentucky Ramblers headlined the festival and closed out the evening. Other performing acts included America’s Got Talent finalists Linkin’ Bridge, former lead singer of Foreigner Johnny Edwards, and up & coming Outlaw Country artist CJ Sparks. In addition, all acts came together meshing all of their unique talents into one collaborative performance. Making an exclusive and very rare experience for all in attendance. (video of performance
