WinterWonderGrass, known for its mix of eclectic bluegrass and Americana artists, local and regional craft brews and world-class skiing and riding, announces today that Sierra Hull will be joining the lineup for the 2022 Colorado festival, marking the first time that this Grammy-nominated mandolin player performs at the event.
WinterWonderGrass is traditionally held at Steamboat Resort in Steamboat Springs, Colorado. The event, as previously announced, will take place on the weekend of February 25-27, 2022 and will feature headliner Trampled by Turtles. Once again, along with this announcement of Sierra Hull, WinterWonderGrass is pleased to offer a very limited allotment of GA & VIP tickets; on sale now at www.winterwondergrass.com/steamboat. The Festival will be announcing one act per month as we ramp up to the return in February of 2022.
Those looking for a dose of WonderGrass ahead of 2022 will be thrilled to learn that in addition to the multi-day RiverWonderGrass float trips through Dinosaur National Monument, the team at Bonfire Entertainment today announces a single-day RiverWonderGrass experience, slated to kick off June 19, running weekly on Saturdays through August 28.
These single-day trips will be limited to 25 people per, and will feature music by the likes of Tyler Grant, Pickin on the Dead, Adam Greuel (Horseshoes and Hand Grenades), a Yarmony Float, Buffalo Commons, the Sweet Lillies and more. Each float will run from Rancho del Rio down to State Bridge, just outside of Vail, CO. More information at https://bonfirentertainment.com/all-events
“The inspiration and influence the upper Colorado River basin has bestowed upon my life is immeasurable. The days of living in a teepee above State Bridge, and managing the musical program starting in the late 90’s, led to the creation of WinterWonderGrass, Bonfire Entertainment, and now RiverWonderGrass.” shared festival founder, Scotty Stoughton.
“Those days saw travelers from all over converging Sunday afternoon at what was once a Lodge. River runners, bikers, hunters, ski bums, ranchers, hippies, yuppies, fisherman and all characters in between would come together and get down dancing under the stars. We’re excited to bring back that energy!”
More information on WinterWonderGrass will be released in the coming months.
