Composer, multi-instrumentalist and modern bluegrass artist Conor Mulroy announces more shows for his winter schedule in the southern and midwestern regions.  He continues to take music to the masses.  He’s touring in support of his fourth independent release Foxfire.  Foxfire is currently the #1 ranking college radio album at WERU - FM in East Orland, ME.

Michigan’s Greensky Bluegrass continues its nationwide tour with the announcement of a West Coast leg that runs into March 2013. Finishing off an epic 2012 with a New Year’s Eve performance at The Majestic in Detroit, Greensky makes a Southeast run in early January, including the band's second appearance on Jam Cruise. A two-night Kalamazoo homecoming stand launches the band across the Midwest for a series of dates with The Deadly Gentlemen to support.

John Driskell Hopkins has walked the musical path for the last 20 years. As a bass player, guitar player, singer and songwriter for several bands of the rock variety, Hopkins rooted himself in the Atlanta, GA music scene in 1995, producing records and touring with his band Brighter Shade and later becoming a founding member of the Zac Brown Band to this day.

Acclaimed vocalist and guitarist, Charlie Sizemore has been recognized by Big Sandy Community and Technical College in Prestonsburg, Kentucky as a Distinguished Alumni of the Year for 2012.

Hailed as one of the most innovative and respected musicians in his field for over 40 years, banjo master Tony Trischka has been awarded a $50,000 USA Fellowship grant from United States Artists.  Every year, United States Artists invites leaders in nearly every artistic discipline to submit names of artists they believe show extraordinary talent and commitment to their craft.

Fresh off their Colorado Front Range Tour, Eric Lambert & Friends will make a short stop at home in Chicago before packing up again and heading east to Asheville, NC to play their final shows of 2012. ELF debuts at the Emerald Lounge on Friday, December 28 with support from Dana & Susan Robinson, and Dark Water Rising.
 

Today The Infamous Stringdusters announce their 2013 Ski Tour – a run of shows that brings the band, and their fans, to the Rocky Mountains’ best U.S. ski towns this winter. The itinerary - which includes stops in Vail, Colorado, Park City, Utah, and Jackson, Wyoming, among others - promises a few days off to hit the slopes.
