The Unified Field: Denver - a Sonic Bloom pre-party featuring Alex & Allyson Grey has been scheduled for a two-night celebration on April 29 & 30 in Denver, CO. The launch party will feature some of the nation's hottest live electronic acts and DJ's alongside an array of visual arts performers, live painters and local vendors for what has gained the event the reputation of being one of Denver's premier underground indoor music and art showcases.

The two-night summer camp out known best for its scenic location on the Colorado River basin and its down-home grassroots appeal has announced the 2011 line up, and this year there is a little something for everyone including a little "Crisco" (country-disco for the uninformed), electro, Americana and even soul-lifting roots rock.

The Hangout Music Festival has added twelve more acts to its May 20-22, 2011 lineup. The newest artist additions include The Avett Brothers, STS9, Grace Potter and the Nocturnals, Brandi Carlile, JJ Grey and Mofro, Karl Denson’s Tiny Universe, Big Gigantic, Soja, Railroad Earth, Greensky Bluegrass, Rival Sons and Honey Island Swamp Band.

Danish songwriter/composer Agnes Obel will be making her North American debut next week in Austin at SXSW. Agnes will play three special shows plus her US radio performance debut on KCRW. The live session with KCRW will air on Saturday, March 19 at 4:00pm EST / 3:00pm CST. After gracing stages in Austin, Agnes will make her way to New York City for a special one-night only performance at Rockwood Music Hall on Tuesday, March 22.
Jon Dee Graham, Freedy Johnston and Susan Cowsill have united to form the Hobart Brothers & Lil’ Sis Hobart. The trio, backed by drummer Russ Broussard and bassist Andrew Duplantis, will make their live debut during SXSW week in a series of Austin appearances.
Bear Creek Music & Arts Festival is thrilled to add a slew of new artists to the 2011 lineup. In true Bear Creek fashion, the lineup features the band in funk, jazz, dance and improvisational music, hosting more than 50 bands on 6 stages.
