Phish has found a way to celebrate New Year's with all of their fans. The band will offer live pay-per-view webcasts at LivePhish.com of each of their three sold-out shows (including December 30th, Phish's New Year's Eve three-set performance, and the band's first-ever New Year's Day concert on January 1st) at New York City's Madison Square Garden.

Portland’s indie folk quartet Horse Feathers maintains these older standards, bringing a household hand saw to the instrumental line up and introducing violin bows and drum sticks to surfaces other than those intended.

After driving around downtown Boulder for about 20 minutes and finally finding a parking spot eight blocks away, I hurried through the crowds toward the Boulder Theater.  The John McLaughlin concert on Saturday just happened to coincide with the city’s annual Christmas parade.
