Montreal-based jazz singer Nikki Yanofsky today announces her new album ‘Nikki By Starlight,’ via MNRK Music Group. A celebration of jazz for purists and new generations alike, ‘Nikki By Starlight’ is comprised of 15 standards from legends Frank Sinatra, Chet Baker, Billie Holiday and more.

Jim Irsay, owner & CEO of the NFL’s Indianapolis Colts, will exhibit items from The Jim Irsay Collection – his renowned assemblage of historic and iconic artifacts from rock music, American history and pop culture – in Indianapolis for a one-of-a-kind event leading into the 2022 NFL season.

For the first time, the exhibit will include unique, historic Colts artifacts and memorabilia – including game-worn uniforms and equipment, autographed items and more – from Indianapolis and Baltimore.

Jay Silence Band just announced their latest single release, “Singer in The Band.” Available to download and stream now on all music platforms! Singer in The Band” was written by Jay Silence and co-produced by Chris Wright at  Violet Studios in Boulder, Colorado. The song is about a light-hearted perspective on how musicians and significant others don’t always see eye to eye and past failed relationships.

If you reach Appalachian singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Martha Spencer, it’ll be from the top of her mountain in Virginia, likely when she’s out walking in the woods. Spencer grew up nestled into hills as old as time. Raised in mountain music (she grew up in the famed Whitetop Mountain Band, which dates back to the 1940s), Spencer channels the old sounds, but she can just as easily create new sounds from her worldly travels.

2020/2021. More than 18 months without being able to do a concert. This space of time, this imposed “pause”, was used to prepare a new album, a group album, like Magma hadn’t done for a long time.

Following the creation of a new line-up in 2020, Magma once again offered to musicians to bring compositions, Christian Vander having never made the deliberate choice to be Magma’s sole composer. But de facto, none of the dozens of musicians who participated in this adventure had offered a new song for decades!
