Ashtyn Barbaree is an internationally touring singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Fayetteville, Arkansas, noted for her distinctive style of ethereal vocals, heartfelt songwriting, and passionate performances. Barbaree’s dedication to creating authentic, emotionally resonant music continues to push boundaries and enchant audiences. Her latest project, Sent Through The Ceiling, is set for independent release on October 25.

Born and raised just a few minutes from Nashville’s Music Row, Teddy and the Rough Riders—the songwriting/vocal duo of Jack Quiggins and Ryan Jennings—blossomed in Nashville’s alternative-rock boom of the 2000s, spearheaded by the likes of Jack White and JEFF the Brotherhood. Through experimentation and sharing stages with groups like The Raconteurs and Natural Child, they naturally merged their rock leanings with the traditional country roots of Music City, developing a sound that is uniquely cosmic-Americana.

The Headhunters are set to release their new studio album, The Stunt Man, on Ropeadope Records on October 11, 2024. The album was recorded in August 2023 at the legendary Hyde Street Studios in San Francisco's Tenderloin neighborhood. Featuring seven tracks, the album showcases the genre-bending repertoire of this 50-year-old ensemble, co-led by original members Bill Summers on percussion and Mike Clark on drums.

The Folk Americana Roots Hall of Fame (FARHOF) will shine a light on Boston’s rich history of folk music with ‘The Song Is Still Being Written: The Folk Music Portrait Project.’ The new exhibit at the Wang Theatre opens September 12 and will feature images from renowned photographer Barry Schneier’s new book ‘The Song Is Still Being Written’ capturing acclaimed folk singer-songwriters – past, present, and future – who have made the Boston/Cambridge area their home for artistic development.
