The Birthplace of Country Music (BCM) has announced its full roster of talent slated to appear at Bristol Rhythm & Roots Reunion this September, including Philadelphia indie-rock stalwart Dr.
Acclaimed American rock band Blackberry Smoke’s new song, “Hey Delilah,” is debuting today. Watch/share the official music video HERE. Describing the track, lead singer Charlie Starr shares, “A good old scary Bible story with a New Orleans groove. Delilah has a cellphone now, though.”

Cola Concerts has announced a new show with Southern rockers Blackberry Smoke and North Mississippi Allstars. Both bands will headline a concert at the Columbia Speedway Entertainment Center on Friday, April 23 at 7:00 PM. The show is part of an incredible weekend for Cola Concerts which will also feature Jason Isbell & Amanda Shires (4/24), and Wynonna Judd (4/25). Tickets for Blackberry Smoke and North Mississippi Allstars go on sale Friday, February 12 at 10:00 AM.
The Birthplace of Country Music (BCM) has been in the thick of planning its 2021 Bristol Rhythm & Roots Reunion music festival ever since the nonprofit announced the cancellation of its 20th anniversary event this year due to the global COVID-19 health crisis. Organizers say they are optimistic that new vaccines, now in development, will help the music, events, and tourism industries rebound after a long nine-month pause.
Blackberry Smoke will perform three special livestream concerts this fall as part of their “Pandemic Jam” series via Mandolin. Each show will take place at 8:00pm ET/7:00pm CT and be broadcast from a different location in either Nashville or Atlanta.

The Drive-In style set up at the ranch was in the same fashion as going to the movies, except this movie theatre had a real PA system. Cars were parked in rows and the social distance tailgating was highly successful. There were limited VIP tables set up in front of the stage for a bit more intimate viewing. Robert Randolph started the show with some of the members and introduced Devon and Duane a few songs in. At that point, the musicians on stage were from five different bands.

Blackberry Smoke’s new rendition of Wet Willie’s “Keep On Smiling” featuring special guest Jimmy Hall, is debuting today. Watch/share a new performance video HERE. An original member of Wet Willie, Hall joined Blackberry Smoke at Capricorn Sound Studios earlier this year to record the track—the same place that it was first recorded in 1974.
