eTown presented another amazing show at the Boulder Theater on Valentine’s day, saving me from the alternative, a romantic home cooked meal (aka cabbage and salmon quiche- my boyfriends favorite) Relieved and excited, I rolled into the theater around 7 and could hear Martin Sexton warming the crowed up already.
I left the Boulder Theater with both ears ringing thoroughly and my head in a satiated state of buzz, and in fact I was bone sober (as far as intoxicants are concerned).

My first interaction with a live music concert was in 1984 at JFK Stadium in Philadelphia, where I saw the Victory tour as a young kid. I still remember it vividly to this day. My family and I had to park so far away from the stadium because it was so crowded, and we hiked it for several miles to get there. Once there, I remember the electric that I felt that night.
The first night started out surprisingly quiet around the Boulder Theater, although the crowd packed in quickly after the opener.
When a renowned musician rolls through a music-oriented town such as Boulder, CO, area musicians will take notice. That’s exactly what happened when the Stanton Moore Trio made a stop at the beautiful Boulder Theater on December 2, 2010.
Hustling down the festive, wintery Pearl Street in Boulder, Colorado, I stopped into “George’s Food and Drink” for a quick beer with a long- time Leftover Salmon fan.
After driving around downtown Boulder for about 20 minutes and finally finding a parking spot eight blocks away, I hurried through the crowds toward the Boulder Theater. The John McLaughlin concert on Saturday just happened to coincide with the city’s annual Christmas parade.

They are named after the lyrics "The fate of the world is safe in Crystal Castles" and "Crystal Castles, the source of all power" both from the theme song for She-Ra's fortress.
