The California Honeydrops

In their fourteenth year together, bay-area soul/R&B favorites The California Honeydrops hit the post-lockdown ground running. Tour dates and festivals returned, including the Honeydrops’ first headlining show at Red Rocks, and, much to the delight of the band and fans alike, the group returned to the recording studio to lay down a new full-length album. Today, the Honeydrops are sharing the very first taste of their upcoming release Soft Spot—out October 7th.

The Infamous Stringdusters have a long storied career as a band spanning sixteen years of musical magic. You can say they are traditional folk musicians with bluegrass roots and style, or you can simply say they are the masters of jam improvisation and all things in-between, and wherever the music lands on your soul is where it lives and grows into your own personal utopia.

Beer, Bluegrass, Mountains: The WinterWonderGrass-Tahoe festival’s first venture in three years – thanks, COVID — succeeded with flying colors, April 1 to 3. The fest location, adjacent to Olympic Village, which was the site of the 1960 Winter Olympics, was the first festival of the year for many, and brought a distinctive assemblage of mountaintop adventure-seekers for a sweet conglomeration of jam-happy roots and bluegrass music, pleasing craft brews, and mountain views.

WinterWonderGrass is set to return to California over April 1–3, 2022 at Palisades Tahoe resort. Today, the festival shares its larger-than-ever Grass After Dark late night series, offering ten distinct shows over five venues throughout the weekend.

Old Settler’s Music Festival is pleased to announce the first wave of bands confirmed for its 35th anniversary gathering, slated for April 21-24 — a welcome return to its usual springtime slot. The festival takes place at its permanent home in Tilmon, Texas, 12 miles southeast of Lockhart.

With the addition of the Bay Area’s wildly popular indie-folk/Americana trio the T Sisters, Sonoma County Farm Trails announces the final lineup for its Gravenstein Apple Fair Benefit Concert on August 14 in Sebastopol’s Ragle Ranch Regional Park.

Bay Area funk-inspired outfit, the California Honeydrops, announce a two-night celebration, August 24-25 on the LAWN at The Surf Hotel in beautiful Buena Vista, CO, adjacent to the hotel in the heart of town's South Main District.

This evening, April 23rd, Portland, OR’s own Fruition premieres a pro-shot full length concert film that captures the biggest headline show of their career.  Tonight caps a five week run of weekly hangs with their fans on their Facebook page called “The Thursday Thing with Fruition”.  Each of the bands’ three singers Mimi Naja, Kellen Asebroek, and Jay Cobb Anderson have hosted a Thursday night, playing Fruition originals, covers, and solo tunes from their homes.
