“Kentucky Rising,” the special one-night-only benefit concert featuring some of Eastern Kentucky’s biggest names in music, will be simultaneously livestreamed next Tuesday, October 11 via Veeps. Organized in response to the devastating flooding in the area earlier this summer, the sold-out event will be held at Lexington’s Rupp Arena and feature performances by Chris Stapleton, Dwight Yoakam and Tyler Childers. Farm Aid's annual benefit concert took place at the Coastal Credit Union Music Park at Walnut Creek in Raleigh, NC on September 24th.  The sold-out crowd was treated to sets by headliner Willie Nelson and co-founder John Mellencamp, board members Dave Matthews and Margo Price, and featured artists Sheryl Crow and Chris Stapleton, among others. One significant absence at this year's event was co-founder Neil Young.

Chris Stapleton’s “A Concert for Kentucky” stadium show raised over $1 million dollars for the Outlaw State of Kind Hometown Fund. Held this past Saturday night, the sold-out event was the first concert ever held at the University of Kentucky’s Kroger Field and featured performances by Stapleton along with Willie Nelson and Family, Sheryl Crow and Madeline Edwards.
