Gathering of the Vibes 2007 has finalized the lineup for the 12th  Annual Music, Camping and Arts Festival, taking place August 9-12 at Seaside Park in Bridgeport, CT.  The diverse genres of musicians and bands performing on four stages include Legendary Grateful Dead guitarist Bob Weir and Ratdog, five time Grammy Award Winner Buddy Guy, Latin Rockers Los Lobos, New Orleans based Dirty Dozen Brass Band, Bass Virtuoso Les Claypool, Roots Reggae Favorites, The Wailers,  Southern rock

After another day of great music and great weather, the rain attacked STS9 and once again stopped the headliner's set a little early. Overall, it was a beautiful day of music and dancing on the river. This festival is quietly one of the best small festivals that I have attended in a long while. The food was affordable and delicious. There was variety and quality, even using Philadelphia's own Amoroso rolls for sandwiches. Yum! In addition, the vendors were diverse and special as well.

DSO played Denver, CO last night.  The show of choice was Rochester, N.Y. -11/21/1978.  Great version of Truckin' to end set 2. Other highlights include Bertha>Good Lovin, & Estimated>Eyes.  Lots of good folks sweating & dancing  till 2AM..

I made a deal with my wife that if I could get the kids to bed, so that everything at the ol' homestead was settled and peaceful, then I could go to the show.  So I went, though I was delayed enough by my two daughters that I arrived at the tail end of Dark Star Orchestra's first set.  DSO is not just your average
