Due to the illness of his wife, Doyle Lawson will be unable to attend our Hall of Fame Homecoming Weekend at the Bluegrass Music Hall of Fame & Museum in Owensboro, KY. Our prayers are with Doyle and Suzanne as they navigate this season. We are all encouraged by good news from Suzanne's doctors and are confident God will take care of our dear friends.

Every June—for the past five decades—music fans known as Festivarians have made their annual pilgrimage to the box canyon town of Telluride, Colorado, for the legendary Telluride Bluegrass Festival. Inspired by the beauty of the natural landscape and the skillfully played music from a multitude of genres, this legendary gathering has long been a bucket list destination for musicians and music fans alike.

Following a show-stopping debut in 2022, Earl Scruggs Music Festival will return to Tryon International Equestrian Center in Mill Spring, North Carolina September 1-3, 2023. As a 30+ year Del McCoury Band member and a founding member of the Travelin’ McCourys, fiddle player Jason Carter has made a lot of friends and fans throughout his heavily-awarded career. But never before have all of his friends, from all of the years, joined Carter for his own solo album. That is, until now.

The annual homecoming of musicians and industry leaders within the international bluegrass community (IBMA) gathered again in Raleigh, NC last week to celebrate and award the year’s best songs, albums, and players. Recognized yet again for his dynamic and immediately recognizable voice that has lent high, lonesome heart to over 30 records in his six-decade career, Del McCoury was crowned Male Vocalist of the Year for the fifth time.
