Trampled by Turtles are from Duluth, Minnesota, where frontman Dave Simonett initially formed the group as a side project in 2003. At the time, Simonett had lost most of his music gear, thanks to a group of enterprising car thieves who'd ransacked his vehicle while he played a show with his previous band. Left with nothing more than an acoustic guitar, he began piecing together a new band, this time taking inspiration from bluegrass, folk, and other genres that didn't rely on amplification.

Propelled by the momentum of a gold-certified single for “In Hell I’ll Be In Good Company,” two Canadian JUNO Award wins for Traditional Roots Album of the Year and sold out tours worldwide with performances at iconic live destinations including Glastonbury, Brixton Academy, and Red Rocks Amphitheater, the finger-picking four-piece offer a highly nonconformist, hugely entertaining take on the traditional string band sound.

As announced yesterday via their socials, Nashville-based quintet and live sensations Rainbow Kitten Surprise have sold out their entire ‘Live in Colorado’ tour – selling over 25K tickets for the run which only went on-sale this past Friday.

The highly-anticipated four-night trek is slated for July 2 + 3 at Dillon Amphitheater and July 5 + 6 at the iconic Red Rocks Amphitheatre. Fellow Nashville-based outfit The Brook & the Bluff will support all four dates.

As if channeling another dimension where genres simply don’t exist, Rainbow Kitten Surprise find harmony in unpredictability, weaving together lyrical poetry, hummable melodies, and a rush of instrumental eccentricities. They quietly built an audience with Seven + Mary [2013] and RKS [2015] before serving up their 2018 full-length debut for Elektra, “HOW TO: FRIEND, LOVE, FREEFALL” – produced by Grammy Award-winner Jay Joyce (Cage The Elephant, Sleeper Agent).

Greensky Bluegrass is thrilled to announce their annual Colorado amphitheater run. This year the band will play two special “Evening With” performances at the Dillon Amphitheater Sept 13 and 14 before heading to the iconic Red Rocks Amphitheatre for two more performances Sept 15 and 16. The Red Rocks dates will mark the band’s 16th and 17th performances at the historic and storied venue and will feature special guests The Teskey Brothers on Sept 15 and Sierra Ferrell on Sept 16.

Born in Johannesburg, South Africa, and now calling Colorado home, horticulturist-turned-musician Gregory Alan Isakov has cast an impressive presence on the indie-rock and folk worlds with his five full-length studio albums: That Sea, The Gambler; This Empty Northern Hemisphere; The Weatherman; Gregory Alan Isakov with the Colorado Symphony; and Evening Machines (nominated for a Grammy award for Best Folk Album). Isakov tours internationally with his band, and has performed with several national symphony orchestras across the United States.
