Sierra Ferrell

Congratulations to Sierra Ferrell on earning her first-ever GRAMMY nominations today. Named "one of country and roots music's most fascinating and fastest-rising artists" (Rolling Stone), Ferrell earned a total of four nominations for the following categories: Best Americana Album (Trail of Flowers), Best American Roots Performance (“Lighthouse”), Best Americana Performance (“American Dreaming”), and Best American Roots Song (“American Dreaming”).

Today, Sierra Ferrell shares an alternative version of her song "Lighthouse," a plea to a potential lover that's been described as both "a hooky earworm" and "a possible hit roots single," wrote the Wall Street Journal.

“This song is probably the most personally special track off this record,” says songwriter Benjamin Tod of his latest single, “One Last Time.” The album-closing number from Tod’s upcoming LP, Shooting Star, “One Last Time” was written about the trials of love and, in his words, “Having to sometimes take the burden of responsibility for things that may not be your fault.” A lot of the discussion around Tod’s new music takes that kind of tone; that of a clear, thoughtful mind fueled

GRAMMY Award-winning singer, songwriter and musician Lukas Nelson joined forces with The Travelin’ McCourys and Sierra Ferrell for a new bluegrass-tinged version of Adele’s beloved song, “Someone Like You”—out today. The rendition came together organically while Nelson and The Travelin’ McCourys were rehearsing for their DelFest performance earlier this year. They will once again share the stage next Saturday at Farm Aid in Saratoga Springs, NY.

Beneath the fading light of an August evening, where the Colorado skies clung to the last vestiges of day and the mountains loomed like sentinels of the ancient past, Tyler Childers took his place before a nearly overflowing crowd at Folsom Field. As darkness gathered, so did the anticipation, swelling like the distant storm that loomed just north of Boulder, sending waves of electric excitement through the air.

Today, Sierra Ferrell transforms the Tiny Desk into an enchanting Trail of Flowers – and shows "how her blend of warmth, chops and inventiveness is remaking Americana music," writes NPR's Ann Powers.
