Widespread Panic and Cloud 9 Adventures announce details for the eleventh edition of their beloved concert vacation, Panic en la Playa. This all-inclusive destination event returns to the shores of the Caribbean and takes over Hard Rock Riviera Maya from January 14 -18, 2023 for four nights of music by Widespread Panic in Mexico.

The Devon Allman Project will kick off an extensive three-week tour this weekend at the Blues, Brews and BBQ festival in Syracuse, NY before heading to Jones Beach as support for Lynyrd Skynyrd on June 6 and will travel throughout the East Coast for several co-headlining performances with Samantha Fish Band and the Eric Krasno Band on select dates along with support from New Orleans legends Dirty Dozen Brass Band.

This past weekend, Grammy award winning guitarist Eric Krasno set out on a coast-to-coast, two-week tour to promote his latest creation Always. Released on February 4th, this second solo endeavor is packed full of the quality compositions and visceral voyages that Krasno is recognized for in the studio as well as the live setting.

Today Petaluma Records released the official video for “Stompin' Ground” featuring Aaron Neville and Dirty Dozen Brass Band. The new recording is the second single unveiled from the upcoming soundtrack release Take Me To The River: New Orleans. The music video for “Stompin' Ground” features footage taken from the forthcoming feature documentary film Take Me To The River: New Orleans, which celebrates the undeniable musical history, heritage, legacy, culture, and influence of New Orleans and Louisiana.

The album’s third single, “Alone Together,” released today, is about the beauty that can be created between two people in solitude. “You and I, alone together now,” Krasno sings. “I didn’t know we could create something divine an innocent in a time so cold.”
 

It took 26 months for the second “annual” BeachLife Festival to transpire, September 10-12, but the Covid-19-includes delay only strengthened the shindig’s vision and spirit to deliver a celebratory tip of the cap to the Los Angeles South Bay seaside’s musical and lifestyle identity. The weekend’s music exemplified many genres, but there was a decidedly distinct number of post-punk rock and alt-pop bands who first blazed their ways to glory in the late ‘80s/early ‘90s.
