Summer is coming to a simmer while plans at Hangtown Halloween Ball are just heating up.

For bluegrass fans it doesn’t get much better than YarmonyGrass: picturesque Colorado weather, great friends, and top-notch picking in one of the most beautiful parts of Colorado. From August 15^th to the 17^th, bluegrass lovers gathered at Rancho Del Rio for the ninth annual YarmonyGrass festival, and the results were more than pleasing.

With the final lineup announced and the secret guests unveiled, the annual YarmonyGrass is ready to roll this weekend, August 15-17.

Celebrated for his fleet fingers and penchant for improvisation on stage, mandolinist, songwriter and vocalist Jeff Austin is on tour with Danny Barnes (banjo and vocals), Eric Thorin (bass and vocals), and Ross Martin (guitar and vocals) as the Jeff Austin Band.

Jeff Austin is embarking on the second leg of his Spring tour starting this weekend. Jeff is on tour this year with Danny Barnes (banjo and vocals), Eric Thorin (bass and vocals), and Ross Martin (guitar and vocals). They have been in the studio with a number of other friends, heroes and mentors to record an album; it can already be summed up succinctly as Austin’s love letter to storytelling.

On the heels of the success of the Aiken Bluegrass Festival’s 2013 spring event the festival will return to Aiken this spring on May 9th and 10th, 2014. With an eclectic mix of traditional and progressive bluegrass, the 10th annual Aiken Bluegrass Festival promises to be the most exciting year to date. “What defines us as an event is our knack for booking bands that enjoy sharing the stage; friends who happily sit in on each other’s sets” says event director, Christian Schaumann.

We couldn't be more proud about our successes and experiences performing at the best venues and festivals in the country, and for the most dedicated fans any band could ever wish to have. They will be touring together throughout the year and also have been in the studio with a number of other friends, heroes and mentors to record an album.The tour loops through the southeast starting in Knoxville before heading over to Atlanta and Greensboro and then landing at the Aiken Bluegrass Festival.
