Mountain Song Productions and Brevard Music Center have announced the first annual North Carolina Guitar Celebration taking place at the Whittington-Pfohl Auditorium on June 4, 2022.

Today, John Hiatt and Jerry Douglas debut the first official trailer for their upcoming documentary Leftover Feelings: A Studio B Revival to coincide with the 2022 lineup reveal from the Boulder International Film Festival.

Rosanne Cash and JJ Grey & Mofro are two of the top headliners for the Bristol Rhythm & Roots Reunion music festival, Sept. 9-11, 2022, in Historic Downtown Bristol, Tennessee-Virginia. The announcement of Grey and Cash are part of the first round of artists announced today by festival organizers.

Earl Scruggs Music Festival is proud to announce its first round of artists for its inaugural event, taking place September 2-4, 2022 at the Tryon International Equestrian Center in Mill Spring, North Carolina. Following two back-to-back COVID-related cancellations, festival organizers look forward to launching the newly minted event alongside host outfits Jerry Douglas and The Earls of Leicester.

This past weekend the 49th presentation of the bluegrass community staple RockyGrass came to a close and once again, the gathering was a rousing success. Presented with the care and talents of the illustrious Planet Bluegrass, attendees were treated to three days of local, regional, and national talents inspired by the Appalachian sound. John Hiatt with The Jerry Douglas Band will release Leftover Feelings on May 21st via New West Records. The 11-song set was produced by Jerry Douglas and recorded at Historic RCA Studio B in Nashville, Tenn. A meeting of two American music giants in a legendary setting, Leftover Feelings is neither a bluegrass album nor a return to Hiatt’s 1980s days with slide guitar greats Ry Cooder and Sonny Landreth.
