Leftover Salmon

This coming Friday, April 3rd, will mark the second installment of WWG TV from the producers of WinterWonderGrass. Viewers can tune into the livestream on Friday at 6:00 pm MT (5:00 pm PT/8:00 pm ET) via the festival's official Facebook page and YouTube channel.

I woke up this morning with Leftover Salmon’s song Troubled Times in my head.

With the house only about two-thirds full, likely due to attendee coronavirus precautions, ALO and Leftover Salmon nevertheless persisted in front of an enthusiastic crowd, many of whose outfits celebrated the show’s artsy moniker, The Fins, Fur & Feathers Fancy Formal. It was the band’s first-ever appearance at the famed Warfield Theatre in San Francisco.

For the droves of fans who block off dates months in advance, repeatedly caravan with friends to North Plains, Oregon, and grow their festival families year after year, Northwest String Summit continues to add world-class entertainment to their already stacked lineup for their 19th annual event.

Baltimore-based social media company Phantasy Tour today officially unveiled their first series of live music trading cards. These high quality, collectible trading cards feature photos of top touring bands from various musical genres. The front of each card displays a photo of the musician or band and the back includes biographical information, fun facts, trivia questions and a foil stamp of authenticity. Vince Herman came from a musical family, inspired by his grandfather that would sing on holidays when he had a drink or two. He began guitar lessons in the third grade from a local accordion player in a polka band. By the time he reached high school, he had found bluegrass while sipping moonshine and listening to Bill Monroe sing Walls of Time. By 1980, Vince found the Grateful Dead and we are all better for that magic event. Leftover Salmon celebrated its 30th anniversary under the Big Top on New Years' Eve 2019.

This March 19-22 Leftover Salmon’s Boogie At The Broadmoor returns for its second year to the Broadmoor Resort in Colorado Springs. This year a charity portion has been added to the event called Let’s Boogie To Benefit Mental Health. In 2020, the focus is on mental health, an important health concern that everyone and anyone can relate to, but a topic not openly talked about enough.

California funk n’ roll outfit ALO will be heading out on the road this week on Tour D’Amour XIV  that will see the band traverse the west coast accompanied by friends such as Twiddle, The Motet, Leftover Salmon and Ben Morrison from Brothers Comatose.  Following Tour D’Amour the band heads to the East Coast on their California Creatures Tour.

The String Cheese Incident has announced their annual Colorado amphitheater Incidents at Dillon Amphitheater and Red Rocks Amphitheatre.  Joining SCI at Red Rocks will be Tower of Power on Friday, Papadosio on Saturday and Leftover Salmon on Sunday.

Leftover Salmon is thrilled to announce the lineup for Boogie At The Broadmoor on March 20-22, 2020. Boogie At The Broadmoor will once again feature three days of Leftover Salmon and it going to be a Festivaaalll with 16+ bands over the weekend including Jerry Douglas and Friends, Circles Around The Sun, Andy Frasco and the U.N., Nick Forster's Hippy Bluegrass Church, DeadPhish Orchestra, Grant Farm and more!
