Composed of SunSquabi bassist Josh Fairman, keyboardist/sound design virtuoso Geoff Bremer and multi-instrumentalist Jay.Greens, the electronic trio blends future bass, electro-soul, house, and nu-age funk to create dynamic soundscapes that pay homage to their city’s multifaceted cultural roots.

Denver-based soul-jazz supergroup BTTRFLY Quintet is soaring through the music world. Formed during the pandemic by artists from Lettuce, Big Gigantic, and Break Science, the band’s five members have sprung from their jamtronica background to blend funk, jazz, jam, and soul into life-affirming instrumental soundscapes.

During the melancholic doldrums of the early pandemic, a group of renowned Denver-based funk, jazz, jam, soul and electronic musicians formed BTTRFLY Quintet: a futuristic soul-jazz fusion collective driven to bring music and joy back to daily life.

Brooklyn Comes Alive returned to the Brooklyn Mirage, located in Brooklyn, NY's East Williamsburg neighborhood last Saturday night featuring diverse genres and heavy hitters from the jamband scene. Jamtronica icons Sound Tribe Sector 9 headlined the event, along with Lettuce, Medeski Martin & Wood, and the first ever performance by Cool Cool Cool.

The stardust has settled down so let’s recap the first-ever Sacred Rose Festival. Opening up a new bracket for Chicago by seasoned festival producers, Sacred Rose certainly had some highs and some lows but one thing is for sure Sacred Rose was one for the ages and one we hope will return.

Funk masters Lettuce deliver a new performance video of “Shine” from the studio where they recorded their latest masterpiece UNIFY. Within the first few seconds of the track, fans are met with what could be described as sunshine, hence the name of the song.

Exhausted festival goers were greeted with cooler temperatures and welcome clouds on the final day of this year's Bonnaroo, June 19th, 2022. Seeing so many hard-core music fans rally for the last day after many had begun their Roo celebration as far back as Tuesday night when the campgrounds first opened was terrific. The Sunday lineup may have been the most diverse of the marathon musical gathering.
