The inaugural Sacred Rose Fest is less than 2 weeks away. For the first time ever there will be a weekend full of music as diverse as the Grateful Dead in its current form. Phil Lesh playing with Nels Cline and Jeff Tweedy as well as Karl Denson, Stu Allen, Grahame Lesh, Jeff Chimenti, and Elliott Peck all in one headlining slot!?! Khruangbin, JRAD, Umphrey’s McGee, Disco Biscuits, Lotus, Elliott Peck’s Midnight North, Holly Bowling, and the Gone Gone Beyond are kicking it all off?!? The list is exciting and inviting.

For its second iteration, North Beach Music Festival plans to take over the Miami Beach Bandshell and adjacent Bandshell Park over three days—the 9th to the 11th—this December. Today, the festival shares its daily lineup, and starting tomorrow fans can secure single-day tickets for the event via northbeachmusicfestival.com.

Following their debut single “Nebula,” Colorado based electronic trio LVNDR.SOUND announces their latest single titled, “Virtual One” featuring Grammy award winning trumpet player Eric ‘Benny’ Bloom of famed group Lettuce. “Virtual One” is LVNDR.SOUND’s second single off of their forthcoming nine track album set to release later this year. “Virtual One” has a highly anticipated release date of Tuesday, August 2nd via Denver based record label Perception Records.

Chicago is excited to host the inaugural Sacred Rose Festival on August 26 - 28, 2022. A big reason for that excitement is that Lettuce will be bringing the funk. North Beach Music Festival returns for its second year this December 9th–11th, 2022, and will once again take over the Miami Beach Bandshell and the adjacent Bandshell Park.

Suwannee Hulaween has unveiled its star-studded, dynamic lineup for the festival’s ninth edition, returning home to the Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park in Live Oak, Florida from Thursday, October 27 - Sunday, October 30.

Shape-shifting producer and multi-instrumentalist Marvel Years has dedicated his career to redefining electronic music’s traditional genre boundaries. Melding guitar instrumentation with studio beatmaking, the Vermont-born, New York-based artist fuels his productions with soul and blues to create the raw, bass-heavy signature sound that’s landed him multiple performances at Red Rocks alongside ZHU, STS9, and Pretty Lights.

Unless, of course, you’re the modern funk band Lettuce and THE Bootsy Collins steps into the studio to put his timeless spin on your new record—which is exactly what happened when the band was tracking “Keep That Funk Alive” from their upcoming album Unify.

Northlands is ramping up and promises to be the biggest event in the region, with 15 bands over multiple stages.

“We super excited about this year,” says Northlands Director Seth McNally.  “We’ve curated a fantastic diversity of genres, basically an entire season worth of dynamic bands and lined them all up for one fantastic weekend of music.”
