THE HOG FARM HIDEAWAY music festival will take place June 9-11 at the legendary Black Oak Ranch in Laytonville, California. The event is presented by an independent, women-owned production company called Shooting Star Events. As part of the lead up to this exciting event, the producers are taking the opportunity during Women’s History Month to shine a spotlight on the many strong women who are involved on the stage and behind the scenes.

The quartet—Shawn Swain [Mandolin], Torrin Daniels [banjo], Joe Funk [upright bass], and Max Davies [acoustic guitar]—twist bluegrass, folk, and rock through a kaleidoscope of homegrown stories, rich mythology, American west wanderlust, and psychedelic hues.

After amassing 5 million-plus streams, selling out shows, and receiving acclaim from Huffington Post, Relix, American Songwriter, Forbes, and more, the group brings audiences back to Big Sky Country on their third full-length album.

In mid-January, Denver Comes Alive put on their annual celebration in the RiNo district of Denver, bringing out a whole host of incredible players and drawing near capacity crowds for solid lineups that left audiences reminded what a great event this is. Over the course of two nights, fans were treated to individually themed parties with Friday getting the jamgrass treatment and Saturday getting the funk. Friday’s stringed extravaganza saw the likes of a great opener in the talented Maggie Rose followed by the powerful WinterWonderWomen.

DelFest, the festival brainchild of Del McCoury and his extended McCoury family, is celebrating its 15th year in 2023, and for those who’ve been all 14 years or those looking to make their first Memorial Day memories with Del and the gang, today is the day everyone’s been waiting for: The initial DelFest 2023 lineup is here!

Following last week’s January tour announcement, The Kitchen Dwellers are thrilled to announce their February, 2023 tour dates. The February run will kick off on Feb 3 and 4 with two nights at The Elm in the band’s hometown, Bozeman, MT. The tour will take the band along with special guest, Lindsay Lou along the Pacific Northwest and West Coast and will wrap up in Solana Beach, CA on Feb 19.

New single out this week from the great Peter Rowan! It’s the title track from his upcoming album and features two Americana heavyweights as well: Molly Tuttle and Lindsay Lou. It’s a cosmic song inspired by his longterm interest in Tibetan music and culture and his friendship with the Tibetan singer Yungchen Lhamo. “This song appeared from infinite space,” Peter explained in the Wide Open Country premiere. Today the Steamboat Snow Bowl is pleased to announce the complete lineup for the new Westside Wednesdays on the Grass Series. The series, which will take place outdoors on the lawn at the Snow Bowl is free to attend, and will feature national level touring artists, as well as the best in local/regional bluegrass and Americana. The series is being presented in partnership with Bonfire Entertainment, as well as Dano's Dangerous Tequila and Billi Fine Cannabis.

Rebel Records is proud to announce a new album from pioneering American roots musician Peter Rowan. Rowan’s second album for Rebel, Calling You From My Mountain features star turns from Shawn Camp, Billy Strings, Molly Tuttle, Lindsay Lou, and more, and original and traditional songs from Rowan and his band.
