Catskill Chill Music Festival has announced moe. as the headliner for “A Farewell to Minglewood” which will take place September 18-20, 2015, in Hancock, New York.  This is the first time that the preeminent New York jam band has performed at Catskill Chill, making it a very special way to close six amazing years at Camp Minglewood before the event moves to a new home in 2016.<

After a very intimate Fox Theater show the night before dedicated to longtime taper Eric Vandercar, who died tragically in a train crash in New York, moe. was ready to bring it to the Denver crowd. It is their 25th Anniversary tour, and it takes a special group of musicians to be able to pull that off.

Conductor Matt Butler is a genius! However he got inspired to come up with this idea of improvisational conducting talented musicians was brilliant. The reason that I say this is because it is very pleasant and beneficial to all parties when musicians are happier than the crowd. Everyone wins! There are only a few inspirational times when that happens. I see it when I am at major festivals and musicians are collaborating, or I see it in super jams such as the Everyone Orchestra.

The disco themed LoHi Music Festival held in the lower highlands Denver neighborhood started with a bang with Genetics and Blake Mobley’s collaborative musical project Tiger Party, that this time featured guitarist Tom Hamilton from Brother’s Past and American Babies. After a brief down pour of rain during the Heavy Pets set, the skies opened up to a beautiful day for a city festival. The set-up of the festival worked well except for the absence of a poster and the LoHi money exchange, which is never a good idea.

It was an illustrious night to be in the mountains of Bellvue, CO at one of the most beautiful venues in the country, Mishawaka Amphitheatre. How much more perfect could the setting be? It was a full moon on Friday the 13th, and the magic in the air was palpable. Every band loves to play at this venue that was recently reinvented, and moe.

Memorial Day weekend always produces a number of different and distinct music festivals across the country, however one Midwest festival in particular has proved for countless years that they know how to throw a unique concert experience complete with a diverse music selection, an enthusiastic and experienced crowd, and a little help from the weather gods. This year’s annual Summer Camp Music Festival was one for the ages, providing fans with an unforgettable experience that won’t be outdone anytime soon.
