Toubab Krewe
ARISE! Those are bold words that I have used in the title of this review, but I have thought long and hard about it, and I can rationalize and explain it. This inaugural festival is one that I will never miss. I was only there for Saturday night and Sunday afternoon, but I did not sleep, and in that short period of time, I was able to completely capture the magic and vibe of this festival.
Toubab Krewe are proud to announce the second incarnation of the Carnavalito Music Festival scheduled for July 3rd & 4th, 2013 at Pisgah Brewing Company in Black Mountain, NC. This year’s main event will be held on Independence Day at Pisgah’s outdoor amphitheater stage for a one-of-a-kind experience surrounded by Western North Carolina’s Appalachian mountains.

One of the great joys of attending concerts is the never-ending exposure to new artists and the swift kick in the ass feeling of why you haven’t been listening to them. This isn’t usually the case with most headliners, as you know what you’re getting into, but when it comes to the opening band, all bets are off. It’s a crapshoot. You might as well bet it all on red.
Toubab Krewe is proud to announce the dates for their Rocky Mountain High 2013 Tour. The 'dirty south meets West Africa' group kicks off their tour on March 21st in Boulder, CO with Reggae powerhouse See-I then continues with dates throughout Colorado, and stops in Utah, Idaho, Montana, and Wyoming.

Toubab Krewe’s CARNAVALITO, a two-day mini-fest, is taking place at the Pisgah Brewing Company in Black Mountain, NC on Friday, July 13th and Saturday, July 14th, 2012.
