Goose, the head turning, indie jam rock band from Connecticut, followed their galvanized performances at the Capitol Theatre in Port Chester, NY and the Roadrunner in Boston, Mass with another mind melting musical experience at the iconic Met Philly in Philadelphia, PA on March 24, 2023. The City of Brotherly Love is no stranger to blazing hot jams from this band, as Goose delivered a pair of ragers at the Fillmore Philadelphia in 2022.
Six sets of music in, the jams and song selection by Goose remained impressive. Every component of their five night run was magically falling into place. This included another sold out night of music at the Capitol Theatre on March 11, 2023.
A five night stand in the music world is a rarity. Five contiguous nights is almost unheard of in this day and age of short attention spans. This did not phase Goose, the self described indie jam rock band, from attempting this infrequent feat at the Capitol Theatre in Port Chester, NY, which is within striking distance of their hometown, Norwalk, CT.
2022 might have been the year of the tiger, but easily could have been the year of Goose, as this band achieved numerous significant milestones. From selling out Radio City Music Hall and Red Rocks, to a co-headlining fall tour with the Trey Anastasio band, this Norwalk, CT based squad literally lived out their own dreams last year.
The rising indie jam squad from Connecticut, Goose, have yet again made a name for themselves as they embarked on their second ever New Years run in Cincinnati, Ohio on December 30, 2022 at the Andrew J Brady Center. This effort evolved into the Cincinnati Mayor declaring December 30th "Goose Day." While the band had never played within the Queen City limits before, they are no strangers to the area having performed twelve times in neighboring Covington, KY.
It was the right time to rock the night away, and Goose did just that for the second night of their ninth annual holiday themed Goosemas on December 17, 2022 at the 1stBank Center in Broomfield, CO. The band continued the theme of drawing wishes written on green and red balls by audience members to determine the second set, as well as dusted off a pair of holiday rarities and more unexpected holiday shenanigans.
It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas, especially at the 1stBank Center in Broomfield, CO, who hosted Goose's annual holiday themed Goosemas event. The first night was held on December 16, 2022, and included a huge display of red and green balls, along with copious sharpies. Fans used these items to write requests for the band, and the band in turn drew the balls from Santa's bag to determine the second set.
Goose returned to The Chrysalis at Merriweather Park for round two last Saturday, and delivered dark, raging jams for a very packed crowd. This was the second time the Connecticut based squad played in this tranquil, natural environment that contains an artistic stage designed to meld with the surroundings. This band continues to grow their fan base, as many in attendance were at their first or second show, and loving it.
Goose, the head turning indie jam rock squad from Connecticut who recently sold out Radio City Music Hall in New York City, kicked off the second leg of their stacked summer tour at The Chrysalis in Merriweather Park. Located in Columbia, MD, this was the first time Goose had played in this innovative space.
Day three is when the magic happens at festivals and this year was no exception at the Peach Music Festival in Scranton, Pa. The weather behaved for the most part, which allowed the schedule to blossom with creativity. Trey Anastasio Band, Goose and The Revivalists were the headliners on the Peach Stage.
