Ardmore Music Hall

Ardmore Music Hall, recently named the Best Music Venue on the Main Line by Main Line Today, announced the launch of a brand new logo and online merch store. These changes have been a long time coming but hit at the perfect time as the venue adapts to the challenges brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Following the success of their live webcast with Talking Heads tribute, Start Making Sense, Ardmore Music Hall is dialing up two more audience-free concerts with Cabinet this weekend. The Scranton-based bluegrass outfit will webcast brand new, live performances on Friday, June 26th and Saturday, June 27th via Nugs.net.

The Ardmore Music Hall team has been working nonstop to bring the joy of live music to fans missing a summers’ worth of touring acts, festivals, and local shows due to nationwide restrictions.  As the only venue in the Greater Philadelphia area with built-in, multi-camera HD video infrastructure thanks to the streaming titans at Nugs.net, the music hall will broadcast the first live concert from their stage in three months on Saturday, June 20 with Talking Heads tribute Start Making Sense.

The staff at Ardmore Music Hall is staying active during the COVID-19 pandemic, working hard to keep music top of mind and lift spirits throughout the area. The music venue, located in Ardmore, PA just outside of Philadelphia, has several projects in the works to keep the fan-favorite venue on the radar of music lovers who miss the thrill of the live music experience.

Over the past few weeks, a sublime musical connection went on tour, hitting a series stages throughout the northeast: Psychedelic groove band Circles Around The Sun performing with lead guitarist Scott Metzger. This past weekend, the foursome took the show to none other than Ardmore Music Hall, where they played to a packed, super receptive crowd, playing one of their best showings yet.

Circles Around The Sun was always and will always be the musical baby of celebrated rock and roll musician Neal Casal. But CATS, as they go by for short, is still as much the musical journey of band members Adam McDougall, Dan Horne, and Mark Levy. The three have put miles and muscle into popular jam scene groups like Chris Robinson Brotherhood, Grateful Shred, and The Congress, but Circles continues as their singular, collective, and unique creation.

Steve Kimock brought his famed Voodoo Dead experience to the Ardmore Music Hall in Ardmore, PA on Feb 5, 2020.  Kimock was joined by legendary New Orleans bassist George Porter, Jr.

It’s hard to imagine a better match than the spirit of New Orleans with the vibe of the Grateful Dead, so Voodoo Dead just seems to make perfect sense.

The spirit of the Grateful Dead community is alive at the Ardmore Music Hall this winter! The mainstay venue for Philadelphia area Deadheads and more will play host to several Dead-oriented shows throughout the late winter and early spring including Splintered Sunlight, Voodoo Dead ft. Steve Kimock, Grahame Lesh and Cris Jacobs’ Philly Shakedown, and more!
