The 19th Annual Last Waltz Revisited will showcase members of Polytoxic together with 60+ musicians from across Colorado; this show has become an annual tradition, bringing the community together to kick-off the holiday season. The musicians will perform the music of The Band and will celebrate the 47th Anniversary of The Band’s historical performance, The Last Waltz. To celebrate the last 19 years of our performance, we have added a number of special guests, additional details to be announced.

Robbie Robertson, the legendary guitarist, songwriter, and founding member of The Band, passed away on August 9, 2023. His death marks the end of an era that witnessed profound influence on rock and roll, folk, and the popular music landscape. He was 80.

Born on July 5, 1943, in Toronto, Canada, Robertson's unique upbringing fostered his passion for music. With his mother's Mohawk and Cayuga heritage and his passion for rhythm and blues, Robertson's style was as diverse as his roots.

It was 50 years ago this summer when over half a million people descended upon a tiny town in upstate New York to revel in a one-of-a-kind music experience featuring The Grateful Dead, The Allman Brothers Band, and The Band. Dubbed 'Summer Jam at Watkins Glen', it went down in history as the largest concert ever held in the United States, overshadowing even Woodstock in its magnitude.

Blind Owl is very pleased to announce that Chest Fever - keyboardist Jody Bagley, guitarist Dan Cervantes, and bassist Blake Dean of the San Diego Music Award winning rock band Mrs. Henry, organist Doug Organ, and drummer Allan Ritter - are releasing a full live recording of the iconic LP Rock Of Ages on July 7th, capturing the magic of their 2022 tour celebrating the 50th anniversary of the release.

In celebration of one of America’s largest musical gatherings that took place at the Watkins Glen race track in upstate New York 50 years ago this summer, featuring the timeless music of The Allman Brothers Band, The Grateful Dead & The Band; today, Wonderland Forest announces ‘Summer Jam 50’, a festival honoring the 1973 music and the 2023 moment.

Continuum Arts Collective (CAC) proudly announces Revel in The Meadow Summer Jam 2023, a celebration and revival of the infamous 1973 Summer Jam festival held in Watkins Glen, NY, that featured The Grateful Dead, Allman Brothers & The Band. Revel features 10 hours of live Music, Art vendors, food, dancing, kids and adult activities, libations, and fun in the sun. All proceeds for this event will go to Continuum Arts Collective and its mission.

Grandeur and a star-filled cast, along with soulful ballads, New Orleans-style funk, and plenty of raucous blues and rock abounded in the ornate, 2,800-capacity Fox Theater in Oakland, Calif., as a 29-song, three-plus-hour production of The Last Waltz Tour 2022 wrapped up its two-night residency on December 3.

In celebration of the 50th anniversary of The Band’s seminal live album, Rock Of Ages, a series of never-before-seen photos taken by celebrated and influential photographer, Ernst Haas, of the legendary four-night stand at the Academy of Music in New York City during the final week of 1971, have been made available to view for the first time.
