Bear Creek Music & Arts Festival is thrilled to announce a once in a lifetime set of music to be performed on Sunday, November 14. The incredible musicians of Lettuce will play a special set of music honoring the distinguished careers of Maceo Parker, Fred Wesley and Pee Wee Ellis. The set will devote 30 minutes to each of their respective careers, including their solo work, their time together with James Brown and other work.
Today, Bear Creek Music Festival announces the addition of moe. to the festival’s already stellar lineup. They join headliners Umphrey’s McGee on November 12-14 at the legendary Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park in Live Oak, Florida. Also scheduled to perform are Ivan Neville’s Dumpstaphunk, Lettuce, The New Mastersounds, Perpetual Groove, George Porter’s Running Pardners, Toubab Krewe, Zach Deputy, Maceo Parker, Pee Wee Ellis, Fred Wesley, Bernie Worrell, DJ Logic, Soulive, The New Deal, Bonobo Live Band, Eliot Lipp and many others.
Big IV Productions owner and CEO Lyle Williams and director/Chief promoter Paul Levine continue to shape Florida’s music scene with plans to bring two festivals to Live Oak, Florida’s Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park in 2010. Returning for its fourth consecutive year, Bear Creek Music Festival will take place November 12-14 and the inaugural Blackwater Music & Art Festival will touch down August 26-28.
The 3rd Annual Bear Creek Music and Art Festival returns to the Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park in Live Oak, Florida Nov. 13-15 for three days of music, art, camping and community as fans from all over the nation gather along the banks of the famous Suwannee River for the fall’s final musical celebration.
The peak autumn weekend is packed full of high-energy, upbeat and danceable music highlighted by the festival’s trademark sounds of over fifty performing bands with a dozen groups offering two entire shows.
