Rival Entertainment announced today another all-star lineup for the 2019 Candler Park Music & Food Festival. Returning to Candler Park for the 11th year on Friday, May 31 and Saturday, June 1st, one main stage will feature a stacked lineup of 10 artists, including Dispatch, Greensky Bluegrass, Dr. Dog, Trampled by Turtles, Stephen Marley, Larkin Poe, Funk You, Aqueous, & Webster. Sponsored by Athens-based Terrapin Beer Co., the family-friendly festival will feature local food vendors, brands and artisans from throughout Georgia.
High Sierra Music Festival, held July 4-7 in Quincy, CA, is proud to announce more artist additions for 2019. In addition to the previously announced, already show-stopping lineup, HSMF is pleased to welcome independent-music legends Dispatch to the top of the festival’s bill. In a season of terrific shows, this past weekend NYC venue the Brooklyn Bowl had what no doubt was a good one. The six-hundred capacity spaced filled itself full out for a towering, full-throttle night of rock music, delivered by two northeast area bands: Brooklyn’s Of Clocks and Clouds and Connecticut’s leading jam-funk band Kung Fu.

As Monterey woke up for day two of Cali Roots, there was a heavy overcast throughout the neighborhood. Thankfully clouds and thick fog are nothing new to reggae enthusiasts, and the festival proceeded without missing a beat. Day two was a day which focused on roots, both of Reggae and heritage. The artists that played Saturday had a much more thematic tie to family bonds, both those that we are born with, and the family we chose as we go through life.
Nahko and Medicine for the People will join Dispatch this summer for the “Dispatch Summer Tour 2018.” Additional support will be provided by Raye Zaragoza, Scatter Their Own, Stephen Marley, and Rebelution on select dates. The tour aims to raise awareness and funds for First Nations communities, and bring to light other Native American issues. Fundraising efforts as well as proceeds from Native designed merchandise will go towards supporting and rebuilding Native American schools.
Dispatch has announced the release of their first studio album in 5 years - America, Location 12 – due out on June 2nd, 2017 independently via the band’s own Bomber Records/Kobalt Music Recordings. Preorders are available starting today via Dispatch.Merchline.Com and the album will be released in CD, Digital and Vinyl formats.
