Infamous Stringdusters

For the first time since the infamous lockdown, the Infamous Stringdusters are proud to be joining together this evening at 6p MT / 8p ET to present "Peace of Mind: Conversations and More." This hour-ish long segment will bring the band together as the 5-piece for open-ended chatter and music on the band's Facebook page.

While the music world turns to live streams and fresh content, Borderland Festival has shared unreleased footage of Keller Williams’ Grateful Grass featuring Oteil Burbridge and the Infamous Stringdusters rehearsing “Eyes of the World” in the historic equestrian stables at Knox Farm State Park in East Aurora, NY, just outside of Buffalo.

In lieu of WinterWonderGrass Tahoe—which was set to take place this weekend and has since been postponed to April 2021 with the original lineup in tact—the producers of WinterWonderGrass are excited to announce WWG TV, set to launch this coming Friday, March 27th at 6:00 pm MT (5:00 pm PT/8:00 pm ET). Viewers can tune into the livestream via the festival's official Facebook page.

While thankfulness is inherent to a Deadhead’s makeup, oftentimes, we don’t stop and fully let our gratitude overwhelm us. The Skull & Roses Music Festival in Ventura, California this April 2nd-5th will easily remedy that. Offering a most wonderful setting in a most sacred spot, Skull & Roses provides the perfect opportunity to allow our appreciation to soar. I sense the familiar thrill rise within me as I digest this year's lineup— Billy & the Kids, Oteil & Friends, Jeff Chimenti, Steve Kimock, and George Porter Jr.

Returning for its eight year to the delight of four-season festival goers, WinterWonderGrass Festival will return yet again to Lake Tahoe, California at Squaw Valley Resort on March 27th-29th. Founded by Scotty Stoughton, a lifelong musician and festivalgoer alike, WinterWonderGrass, “aims to cultivate and nurture the relationship between nature, authentic music, and communal family, creating a vehicle for inspiration,” according to its mission statement.

The Grammy award-winning Infamous Stringdusters are headlining this year along with The Lil’ Smokies, Horseshoes & Hand Grenades with two sets over the weekend, Rumpke Mountain Boys, Old Salt Union, Fireside Collective, The Sweet Lillies, The Grass is Dead, banjo master Kyle Tuttle as artist at large as well as local favorites Restless Leg String Band and many more.

With WinterWonderGrass Colorado set to kick off this weekend in Steamboat Springs, CO for another sold-out year, and the California-edition of the festival set to take place next month, today the festival shares details on their official late-night series, Grass After Dark, for their March event.

Fourteen more bands have been added to the Rooster Walk Music & Arts Festival, led by Greensky Bluegrass rock’n’roll project, phAb.

WinterWonderGrass 2020 is on the horizon and the festival is excited to share the official daily schedule for their Vermont edition, taking place April 10 & 11 at Stratton Resort in Manchester, VT. The placement of this year’s festival coincides with the end of the ski and snowboard season at the resort, and WinterWonderGrass plans to bring one heck of party to the mountain’s base to close out the year.

With music that is part bluegrass and part roots rock with a dose of funk-influenced danceable rhythms, Fireside Collective is stylishly blurring the lines of traditional roots genres. The Asheville, North Carolina-based group is out to make a unique artistic statement through a diverse approach — one that has already gained the quintet a fervent fanbase and the attention of their peers.
