Iration

Reggae-influenced alternative rock band IRATION will hit the road this summer with their friends Slightly Stoopid as the main support on the "Sounds of Summer 2017" tour.

Everybody’s past has a soundtrack. It’s an often-random selection of music that has accompanied, and in some cases, defined stages of our lives. As we grow older, tastes change and more is added to the soundtrack. Songs and artists are archived in our memory, assigned specific events or entire periods of our lives.

Until listening to this album, I had no clue the extent to which Iration is the soundtrack of my young adulthood.

IRATION has officially announced the details for their new acoustic album, DOUBLE UP. The 10-track album--set for digital release December 2 via their own Three Prong Records--marks the reggae-influenced alternative rock band's first all-acoustic album as they prepare to celebrate the 10th anniversary of their first album in 2017.

Reggae-influenced alternative rock band IRATION has revealed the initial dates for their 2017 touring plans with the announcement of their "Lost & Found Winter Tour." The four-week headlining outing--featuring support from Jamaican reggae artist, Protoje--is named after a track off the band's latest full-length album, HOTTING UP, their second #1 album on Billboard's Reggae Albums Chart.

Iration is an alternative/reggae group of musicians formed in Isla Vista, CA. A deep-rooted reggae influence is fused with elements of rock and pop to create smooth original sounds – “We’re all about luv”, states the band. The group is made up of members Joseph Dickens (Drums), Joseph King (Engineer), Cayson Peterson (Keyboard/Synth), Micah Pueschel (Guitar/Lead Vocals), Adam Taylor (Bass), and Micah Brown (Guitar/Vocals).

After performing this past Saturday (9/10) at the Shoreline Jam at the Queen Mary in Long Beach, CA for more than 10,000 fans, IRATION has announced a Los Angeles headlining show for Friday, November 11 at The Novo by Microsoft. The show will feature full and acoustic performances from the reggae-influenced alternative rock band, making this an extra special night in downtown LA.

For the members of IRATION, the ocean and environment hold special places in all of their hearts. When the Hawaiian-bred, Santa Barbara-based group is not performing, Micah Pueschel (lead vocals/guitar), Adam Taylor (bass), Joseph Dickens (drums), Cayson Peterson (keyboard/synth) and Micah Brown (guitar/vocals) can usually be found outside surfing, golfing and enjoying nature.

As IRATION gears up for their spring "Hotting Up Tour" to kick off later this month, the reggae-influenced alternative rock band has announced a handful of massive Southern California summer appearances. On Friday, June 3, the Hawaiian-bred, Santa Barbara-based group will headline KJEE's 12th Annual Summer Round-Up concert at the Santa Barbara Bowl.

Alternative rockers IRATION have just announced details for their fall "Hotting Up Tour" in support of their brand new album of the same name, HOTTING UP. Tickets for the five-week trek go on sale this Friday, July 17 at 10am local time.
