For those of you headed to New Orleans Jazzfest this year, on Saturday, May 4 at The Blue Nile, we'll gather six of our most favorite musicians for a band called The Royal Potato Family All-Stars.

Renowned vibraphone, percussionist and lyrical mastermind Mike Dillon is one of those traveling musicians that might not always draw the largest of crowds, but is embraced by many musical communities and fans of altering genres.

Mike Dillon is a hardworking man of many hats. The songwriter, percussionist, vibraphonist and bandleader has a lengthy resume displaying a vast list of projects spanning genres of rock, punk, jazz, afro-funk and hip-hop. Dillon has played with Ani DiFranco, Karl Denson, Les Claypool, James Singleton and Ten Hands.
