Today, Marcus King's rendition of Neal Casal's "No One Above You" (listen/share) becomes the sixth single released from Highway Butterfly: The Songs Of Neal Casal, a forthcoming 41-song tribute to the late songwriter and musician who passed away in August 2019.

The Neal Casal Music Foundation and Osiris Media have announced the launch of Highway Butterfly: The Stories of Neal Casal—a companion podcast that will be presented in the leadup to the release of tribute album Highway Butterfly: The Songs of Neal Casal.

The Neal Casal Music Foundation (NCMF) continued its mission of donating musical instruments to students with a gift of guitars, amplifiers, a keyboard and other accessories to Morris Knolls High School in Rockaway, NJ where the late musician graduated in the class of 1987. The gear presented to Morris Knolls was purchased by NCMF through funds raised from outreach to Casal's extensive fanbase, as well as, the foundation's arrangement of a donation from iconic instrument manufacturer, Fender Guitars.

Guitarist John Lee Shannon's Tompkins Square debut, In & Of, out October 2nd. Recorded at Panoramic House in Stinson Beach CA, the album was intended as a collaboration with late guitarist and producer Neal Casal, who passed away a year ago this week (August 26, 2019).

The Neal Casal Music Foundation (NCMF) has been created to honor the memory of the late great, multi-dimensional artist through an ongoing series of charitable endeavors. The initial focus of the 501c3 non-profit is to provide instruments and lessons to students in New Jersey and New York state schools where Casal was born and raised, as well as to make donations to much needed mental health organizations that support musicians in need.
