Gem & Jam Festival continues to march forward towards making this its biggest year yet, since announcing it would return to the beautiful, desert setting of Pima County Fairgrounds, January 31 through February 2, 2020.  The three-day music, art, performance, and gem & mineral festival that has added a mix of all-star talent and burgeoning artists destined to be highlights.

Ah. Summer festival season is coming to a close very soon but not without one more trip to Infinity Downs & Oak Ridge Farm in Arrington, Virginia.

It was a summer New England weekend at the site of the Marshfield Fairgrounds in Marshfield, MA. The 7th Levitate Music & Arts Festival was underway with some big names in rock, reggae, blues, and jam music. Not only does it bring great music, but it also brings great philanthropy and a homegrown vibe. 

On Sunday be sure to wake up early to catch the barefooted, Keller Williams lead LOCKN in some Grateful Dead tunes with his “Grateful Gospel” group. If you’re looking for some soul, then St. Paul & The Broken Bones are the ticket at the 5:30 PM slot on The Main Stage. Closing out the seventh annual LOCKN Festival will be Bob Weir & The Wolf Bros. (Jay Lane & Don Was) featuring Susan Tedeschi & Mikaela Davis.

LOCKN' is excited to unveil its annual assortment of unprecedented artist collaborations. In addition to its already remarkable 2019 lineup, this year's edition of the four-day multi-stage camping festival will boast an array of truly extraordinary onstage partnerships, once again affirming LOCKN' among the world's most exciting and unique summer gatherings. LOCKN' takes place August 22-25 in Arrington, VA at Infinity Downs, LOCKN's 387-acre property located at the foot of the Blue Ridge Mountains.

The Werk Out Festival has announced its daily lineup schedule for August 1st-August 3rd, 2019. In its 10th year founded and curated by The Werks, this year presents the most robust lineup yet with Big Gigantic, STS9, The Claypool Lennon Delirium, Steel Pulse, The Floozies, Twiddle, Matisyahu, and more rounding out the genre-spanning lineup handpicked by the festival’s namesake band. In addition, the festival has announced single-day tickets available for the first time in their history.

So, I’m breaking out my camping gear - cleaning out the tent, waterproofing it, freshening up the sleeping bag.  It’s the weekend before Summer Camp Music Festival! Recently, I caught Pigeons Playing Ping Pong and Twiddle on the Road to Red Rocks, and they were on fire! Twiddle is new to me. I really enjoyed the vibe going on between these two east coast bands.  They both are playing Summer Camp festival on a seemingly relentless touring schedule.

On April 19, 2019, Vermont-based jam-rockers Twiddle made a stop during their Spring Tour at the Sherman Theater in Stroudsburg, PA while being supported by Gatos Blancos.  Before Twiddle took the stage on Friday evening, they had an engagement in Milford, CT as the house band for the Dan Patrick Show in anticipation of the 4/20 holiday.  Their on-air songs included their original “River Drift” as well as covers of the Game of Thrones theme, Led Zeppelin’s “D’yer Ma
