You love live music. You love your dog. But how often can you enjoy them together?

The Melodic Caring Project (MCP), the Seattle-based non-profit founded by musician Levi Ware and his wife Stephanie, has already brought the healing power of music directly to the hospital beds of hundreds of critically-ill children since it launched two years ago. This unique marriage of music and technology has an ambitious schedule of artists set for April for streams of shows, among them Tyrone Wells, G Love & Special Sauce and Switchfoot.

This Saturday, November 23, CRYPTICAL and a special stealth guest are at 19 Broadway in Fairfax, CA, rocking the night away and raising funds for Rex.

DETOUR bluegrass band announced last year they would be donating proceeds from the sales of their song "Homeless Of The Brave" to Goodwill’s Patriot Place project. Patriot Place is a transitional housing community for Northern Michigan’s homeless veterans.

The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) estimates that about 1 in 88 children has been identified with an autism spectrum disorder (ASD), affecting over two million people around the country and tens of millions worldwide; a ten-fold increase in prevalence in 40 years. Research suggests that the increase is only partly explained by improved diagnosis and awareness.
